Tulane has also honored Mr. Ivy by presenting a discussion of his massive achievements on their school website, as well. Mr. Ivy is the very first architect to receive the Noel Polk Lifetime Achievement Award from MIAL.

MIAL President, Nancy LaForge, says that Mr. Ivy makes architecture accessible to the general public. This is certainly the case, seeing as how membership in the American Institute of Architecture is at its highest, thanks to his efforts and published works.

If all of this wasn’t enough to establish Mr. Ivy as one of the foremost spokesmen and supporters of architectural design, AIA President Carl Elefante describes him as “a worthy ambassador of his profession” and describes the Noel Polk Lifetime Achievement Award as “a crowning personal and professional achievement for him”. Mr. Ivy is, indeed, a monumental man.
